Nevertheless I have my doubts....why not go for Ocon? Kubica is what? 34 or 35? Somehow it feels a bit like some sort of marketing trick from F1 organization... But let’s hope the decision has been made on drivers capabilities and not on show. ...

I hope it will work out well for him

Sadly his age will not help after all those years of non competing on this level.

It’s a great achievement [nt]

I was a fan.

Very good driver, but 34 years old. There are a lot of young and hot pilots waiting for a chance, i dont understand this.

There are so many races for senor drivers and old drivers without talent but rich, i think this is the place for Kubica.

It will soon be obvious when the results of him and his rookie team mate George Russel start to come in. In the end you can only compare team mates.

That’s very true [nt]

Captain maybe it's half the truth. The boxes give you more or less power, the strategy comes only from the boxes. So the team has a big influence.

This is the next big mistake in the F1, it is not the driver, it is the team. Stop radio communication with the cars, the driver has to know when he needs new tyres. Why they have to change one time tyres, if the car eats not too much rubber, it is becaus...

Why not, perhaps because I’m 47...

Don’t get it. As if formula 1 is something essential in our life. So why not drive when your 34 or 40? So maybe the young talent has to wait? So many young talents in business, culture that have to wait, at patient. I think it is about time to understand ...

With 47 you think too much. Thinking makes slow.

What we also can see, when the pilots are young and hot they are quick. Not all, but someone of them, marry and get children, and the loose her speed. Best example, Vettel, the big looser this year. Rosberg know this when he left F1, and this was a good d...

yes you have a point there although thinking is good, perhaps just not for F1 :-)

Looking from that angel it makes sense. But just to mention Lewis is 33y (no children), Michael won 5 WC after having 2 children, winning his last being 35y old. But I agree Robert is no way close to the talent of these 2, so will certainly struggle. br, ...

Hi Dirk, Michael was one of this exceptions, i told it before. He has a wonderful women, always standing behind him in all decisions. Very important!

She knows, this is his life and she cannot change him. So he could hide the family and race with a free head. Hamilton is a street figther coming from the ghetto, he is in the F1 because he is very good and still in best condition. He dont grows up with a...

"Hamilton coming from the ghetto"....

You need to check your stereo types, as this statement may be offensive to some and in this case its incorrect.

He came from A place called Stevenage

No one in F1 has come from a ghetto

Not at night. :)) [nt]

Hamilton is hard working for his bad boy image.

I remember exactly this interview. It was the last year, when he had serios problems with Nico. He say, Nico was born with a golden spoon, well educated and protected and from a rich family. He comes from the street and his family had no money and they we...

When a human body goes 35+ deterioration starts to kick in. You lose strength. And driving a F1 cars requires a lot of strength.
