Really like LMP cars; although I have to admit the recent ones are not always easy on the eyes...

Was in Germany the other day and happened to see the Porsche 919 Hybrid in the flesh. Not a classic beauty, perhaps but the brutal functionality has a certain charm. And evil in the sense that it makes me think about another Chopard...
Seems there were at least some French components involved ;)
As for the roads I would generally disagree. No Route Napoleon in Germany and the French highways are generally in much better shape than the German ones. Sadly speed limited, though
Possibly also the traffic density and quality of upkeep?
I guess French highways are less frequent transit routes, so see less traffic?
I must generally have been lucky...
In my experience they have always been much emptier than the German ones.

LMP(1) cars are very cool racers.
The coolest to rule them all: Mazda 878b Rotary engine ...
The 787 is spectacular :)
But some of the earlier Toyota and Nissan attempts have been pretty cool, too
