Just stumbled on a review in the Tagi of a recent picture book with pictures taken by Rainer Schlegelmilch of concept cars during the '70s. If your German is not up to it, here are some of the pictures they show: (All from the Tagesanzeiger article above...  

It has been on display here in Los Angeles at the Peterson Automotive Museum. Unfortunately the exhibition ends on February 3rd so I need to get down and see it before it closes.

The Abarth is just the business. Those massive air intakes on each side of the cockpit.... Though it looks better, IMO, from the front....while lying with your chin on the asphalt :-) ...
