Albert Camus car accident 4th January 1960

Albert Camus didn't drove the car. Camus was in the passenger seat and died instantly, while Gallimard who drove the car died five days later. The accident occurred because one of the rear tires burst, causing the car to spin out of control. The engine's power had no influence on this accident. The car on the photo is a Facel Vega HK 500, the one they drove was a Facel Vega FV2 that looked different. The most beautiful model, in my opinion, of Facel Vega was the Facel II (exterior and interior wise).
