Auctioned yesterday, this ROO JPM was and still is one of my favorite Royal Oak Off Shore. One of these watches I owned and stupidly sold. Credit picture: Phillips. For me, it is a kind of " King Of ROO Cool ". I sold it just because I couldn't wear it co...

A very special ROO along with the RBII

You do have to love a good AP.

That was another very cool one.

Amazing presence on the wrist .

AP always put extra effort in limited racing models...

Many limited APs have just a color scheme change but all with automotive theme have a bunch of great details and features.

AP don't make these anymore

Like the RB II AP never make these iconic pieces anymore, and that's one reason I kept both the RB II Ti and Montoya. Selling them is easy but getting one in excellent condition is hard.

Superb AP...

This watch with the Barrichello 1&2 are high points at AP for me.

Same opinion, here. [nt]

We should talk about this [nt]

It was my first ROO had it for two years then upgraded to RBII

Sadly both are gone

I also owned it many years ago. I'll always credit this one as the biggest "rule breaker" among ROO chronographs

So polarizing, early reaction leaning more towards "AP sucks". Famous last words, a handful of those folks ended up buying the watch.

The Proto

As Nicolas says, no worries!

BUT... you did have me excited, I am not familiar with a JPM proto.

Once upon a time...I had an opportunity to buy this proto 000/000 a steel version of the "plat blue one"...but at the end it became like an auction and I did not want to go further...but I received photos so here it is... ...

Yes, I read. ;) [nt]
