I used to really like AP I have owned quite a few throughout my lifetime. I’ve had the AP jumbo 15202 in every dial color in ss and I had the ss perpetual calendar RO about 15 years ago. I regret selling that watch as well as the jumbos but I was anxious ...  

I think it looks great for sure. The games are unfortunate, however, can always find stuff and pay to have it now. Enjoy 👍

I've given up on Porsche for the same reason, fortunately I have the Porsches that I really want. Don't need or want any of the new stuff.

I really love the Royal Oak but I do not like the manufacturer and I've almost always had really bad experiences at the boutiques. But for some reason I still own one and I want one in solid gold with an aged dial lol.. Yours looks amazing, congratulation... 

But the jumbo is quintessential AP for me. Sort of like a speedie being quintessential for an Omega.

You , like me are getting older and like the warmth of gold.

When I was in my 30's I wanted all PT because it was stealthy and I loved the heft. Now that I am in my 40's I'm like F that. I prefer the colored metals, if I want stealth I'll just buy ss and save a lot of money.

Seems like the disease is far more severe than you believed )) Not to worry, same shoes hare! I agree with your statement that it’s nice not “need” anything and not needing to play the games. When I enter a boutique and they just hint the idea of bundling... 

And their are times of guilt that I feel, but it's a disease that we constantly battle with. And sometimes I win and sometimes I lose.

I would rather just swallow the premium pill once vs several times of a loss to chase an elusive piece. Watch manufacturers have essentially copied the Ferrari playbook. I just refuse to play that game.
