But I wonder if there is a Country which can be strongly linked to a brand.
I know, like many of us, some personalities who had some strong appreciation for a brand, and you mentionned one: Fidel Castro with his GMT, without forgetting his " brother in weapons ", El Che.
We had De Gaulle, in France, with Lip. We now have Sarkozy, with Rolex and PP.
Chirac was sporting a Hublot, if I remember well, and I think there was something with Leroy.
Back to the Presidential connection, I believe that at a certain time, the Presidents of the U.S.A received a Memovox from JLC: President Johnson, for example, and just ot mention him, received a World Time.
