Hi all, not much being said about the new 11:59 collection, I’m looking at the perpetual with the Avertine dial. Personally I like what AP did with the case and lugs albeit others don’t seem to agree, at least yet. So to be specific, has anyone gotten one...

I seemed have missed this. Very good report, it looks as though AP has an uphill road right now and I’m not sure the Avetine dial will make enough difference for me to pull the trigger...JIm

...and a bit on the ‘flashy’ side (from pix anyway). This is one I would definitely have to see in person. Speaking of value, there are PP perpetuals out there selling NIB from well-established online dealers for well under retail. A local AD has a 5496P ... 

if you speak about the RO PC I think people will react differently... just that it is too different 'face' of AP that everyone seen for years ! i like the lug design. Best, mahesh.,

Because it has the most interesting dial. In this respect, it really takes advantage of the great case design. Please note that the visual rendering due to the special glass may be disturbing. Sometimes, you really think that the dial is sloped! It is a w... 

I think they should have fit the cal. 5134 to a thinner case, the ultrathin movement is 4.31 mm while the case is 10.9, ok the new thicker glass but 6.6 mm over are too much, in my opinion.

I’m going to look at the watch soon but I am hesitating to be the first on the block to buy one. I don’t think the boutique will discount it and I don’t want to take a bath...Jim
