...which is what mine is, but the gold versions have a sapphire if I remember correctly.


The crown's very small. The size looks right for the style of the watch but it's difficult to wind, although as an automatic, winding isn't really much of an issue. It's so small you can't really "feel" it winding between your fingers, it's more like you just "know" it's winding. But once the crown's pulled out for setting, it's much easier to feel it turn since it isn't resting up against the case. I wear this watch a lot and it's held up very well to the moderate abuse of daily living.
