I did not know AP would accept such changes....
On other brands these details are huge for Purists ( service dial or typography etc.) , but with AP only the iconic 5402 get this extreme attention.... Not ROO for example.

In my case it was specific to that dial.
My understanding is AP will not alter original dial details. The silver dial 25770 was produced at the factory with the dark shroud. However, in AP's internal catalog for that watch, it is showed it with a silver shroud, so I was able to have it changed. ...
