She is very well loved.
A friend of my wife bought the guinea, cage, all accessories, etc. about 5 years ago. After 1 month, her spoiled brat kids were bored with it and paid her no mind. She called Tracie wanting to "get rid of it". We took in this little creature and have loved her since. She is a real Family member.

MichaelC faked me out with my falsely-assumed alliteration of Hazel the Hamster. The good news is that Hazel the Guinea Pig no longer needs to worry about the hamster-flaying Bobby Flay.
Her given name is Hazel, but she most commonly goes by DeeDoo

My wife and I have an unofficial rating system for the pets and kids.
Hazel is #1, our Cairn Terrier Duncan, #2. You can flip a coin most days on the kids and who comes in last ;-)
