SHAQ-fari?

After 5yrs of same, thought to give this piece a new zest of life.. Besides, two of my other ROOs are already currently sporting the ever-popular AP red-stitch black hb. Visited APSC in SG recently and was suggested this (*white stitch brown hb) as used in Arnold AS/Safari. Since it was the only available strap then that would fit, I went for it. Was looking for something that would render this watch a more relax/tone down look, and thinking along the line of the plain calf ones like those of T3s, or Legacy's? (if right fit) - please suggest. Or better still, if one has actually toyed/cross-strapped their 47mm ROOs, sharing pics of result here would be most appreciated. In the meantime, a little change is good, and I do think that this brown looks a tad more casual than that of the original black.

as you've said "the white-stitch plain black calf would probably suit better", in my opinion brown matches the gold watch better. But if you like the brown to add more variety, why not? :D

I like the brown hornback tremendously...

...although I don't think it goes with this piece since it has red. For some variation, I would get the kevlar that's on the Legacy. But the best is to stick to the original how AP meant this to look like. Cheers
