NWA! Who said you need to spend heaps of money to enjoy AP?

Just got this one in after a month of waiting (thanks FedEx and US Customs).  This is a 1960s Audemars Piguet ref 5369ST with a really beautiful silken/cross-hatched dial.  Imagine, a steel AP from the 60s for under 5k!

For those who know AP calibers, the manually winding cal 2001 and cal 2003 were widely used in many AP models over a 3-4 decade stretch.  However, in between, AP created the cal 2002, of which they made around 200 movements.  Several of those movements were cased in tonneau-shaped steel cases and were dubbed the 5369ST.  This watch is ultra rare and pretty hard to find in good condition.  It's also absolutely gorgeous, especially with the way the sunlight plays with the textured dial.  Best bang for your buck ever!  This watch is testament to the fact the AP is so much more than Royal Oak!  But it's alright, while people pay 130,000 USD for a 41mm gold RO chronograph, I can pick up awesome things like this!
