Thanks Ken. I don't mind winding it at all; I just wasn't sure if it's better to let the watch keep running instead of stopping and starting. I definitely wear it more than once a month, just not everyday. I'm assuming if one is lucky to have a perpetual,... 

It is said that if you keep the watch running, the "servicing" or "overhaul" interval would/ should be shorter because, obviously, the inside would be worn faster. If you work the watch once a month, naturally, the servicing interval would/ should be long... 

You will not hurt the watch either way. I winder can be convenient for something like a 15202, with the unconventional date change adjuster.

I would recommend a SwissKubiK winder if you'd opt using one. Obviously there are many more roads to Rome.
