Would you recommend an AP perpetual calendar next to patek philippe or you think the likes of iwc or jlc or cartier or others are as good or better than AP perpetual

Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar
Is AP very known for its perpetual Calendar RO as much as sports watches. Is it one of the better bets as far as perpetual calendar is concerned?
It is a very attractive watch
Like all APs, it is well made and reliable. The skeletal stainless steel model has a real following. The pink gold case with brown dial stunning in person. I would enjoying adding any version to my collection one day.

I would absolutely recommend AP with those other brands.
Of course a lot comes down to the aesthetics on a perpetual calendar. Some certainly look busier than others. As for movements, you are obviously considering the high end brands. I am not overly familiar with those others; if I were to select a PC not mad...
IMO on the RO PC
