I've always felt that way about AP for the past decade...
The Jules Audemars piece with the Robin escapement... AP has the richest history among all of the four top tier brands (AP, PP, VC, Breguet) when it comes to chiming watches. It really depends on what kind of watch collector you are... But if you're a collector of slightly more traditional high horology, then the AP products of yesteryear are the products for you!
