Continuing my journey with CODE 11.59 and with a little inspiration from a combination of Lunar New Year, Valentine\'s Day, and some fine Bordeaux... Over some period of time, I\'ve been looking at getting some kind of Red dial variant - and lo and behold...  

Good point on the date window - it would be extremely nice to have a model with a clean dial. There must be a lot more work and effort from the manufacture to add this feature. Now with a few watches with the same superlative feature it does become a litt...

...such as a light tent,tripod,macro lens and adjustable neutral light sources (6500 k temperature). The final touch is however in the manipulation of photo editing programs which admitedly are not always intuitive and need some time to learn.

I think they have done a wonderful job with the smoked dials - I had previously considered a blue one but perhaps with the preponderance of traditional black, blue, grey dial models in my collection - this was my first foray into more exotic dials. And as... 

That is a beautiful dial! Im not that big of a fan of red dials but this is just a marvelous dial! Amazing piece mate, wear it in good health!

I also thought exotic coloured dials were left for fashion models, but I think if anything, with the increased popularity of green dials in the last year, as well as more recently turquoise dials on "standard cases", dial colours are becoming another way ... 

I too believe that expanding the colour spectrum would be very much fitting. Though somewhat controversial, I do adore the Diver line with all its funky colours. Going bold is a great way to infuse more life and hype around the brand and its time pieces. ... 

I always liked The Code, in spite of many contrary opinions when it was first released. It is a well designed, contamporary and, why not, cool! Wear it that beauty in the best of healh! Radu

I was definitely impressed in person. I find that it takes a person with a higher level of creativity, interpretation, and imagination to be able to translate 2D to real-life - kudos to you for having this skill! I think I passed on multiple models in pic... 

It is a striking dial. With you and M4 banging away, how long before I crack the CODE?? I suspect this year, for sure

This is an old quote I recall from P.com days - with the Panerai Base - and the feeling I get wearing this CODE is reminiscent of those memorable and passionate days wearing the good ole tuna can. I look forward to your future CODE too Cheers Peter
