it was available and with ease at the time (pre 2012) you could walk in to somewhere like good old Marcus on Bond Street (anyone remember the beautiful, helpful and charming Nicoletta?) and sample side by side the blue, charcoal and white 15202 alongside ...
I think there is an ownership bias here Tim :) Availability or 'manipulated non-avail' hardly qualifies for either of the models being 'proper'. btw I too went for the white...
...one simply cuz it was just less sort after even at the time. Blues were more avail then and still are in production.
