I like your last question - is the Millenary the proper context for a calendar watch. For this one, maybe so, as again the leap year calendar is a bit different. Still, it is a curious selection. These complicated Millenaries have a somewhat chaotic layou...

I don't understand why a 4 years and not a "full" perpetual calendar? On the other hand I prefer the watch "simple", without any complication. It's escapement is complicated enough. Constantin

I saw the Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium in Geneva, and it is quite attractive in the metal.
