It plays with your mind a bit to feel its light weight.

Made friends with the guy who was wearing it. It was great!! The moment I saw the watch in person... and held it in my hands, i realzied what a beauty this watch is!! Like most AP's, there's no substitute for seeing them in the metal...oops, in the carbon... 

It is a polarizing piece. I feel, in the carbon as you say, it is a very successful design.
