Thank you very much for your most valuable feedback and views. I certainly do agree that its a fantastic piece and am certain that it will get plenty of wrist time.
As for the colour blue, firstly its one of my favourite colours... other reason being am mostly in jeans and i thought it will complement the overall package...hehehe

is a great first AP (like mentioned before) and one with a black dial is on my wrist during typing this It is present, but never too "flashy". Quite good for 24/7 if wanted. Good luck with your decision. Oliver

I got a black dial the other day and I can't be any happier. You won't regret it. After owning so many watches, this by far is the best I've had. The craftsmanship is simply top notch! Good luck on your hunt.
