Hello All, I have an AP Royal Oak Offshore Themes (Black dial) and was in a bit of an accident recently. As a result of which, the Bezel on the AP has a few, very noticeable scratches on it, mainly on the right side. They are also quite close to the WG Sc... 

It's going to happen again, and again. And it happens with other watches too. You might as well wear it and enjoy it - battle scars and all - until it's ready for a service back at AP.

Hi, Oh, I intend to..I just wanted to know if this, if at all, would be an attemptable DIY thing? Or if any of you have done it before? They are REALLY obvious and its killing me to see it like that.

Really only one option, sevice center in clearwater florida for a polish. I wouldn't do it myself. Trust me, i've been there.

If the scratches are on brushed surfaces, and it is light enough--not major dints or scars, you could try using a pen rubber eraser. Rub it the exact direction of the original brushed lines. I've had success with few of my ROO pieces--Ti, steel and RG. Fo... 

I suspect the delay is because your watch arrived at one of the two worst times of year: Xmas and August, when the facility (and many of those in Switzerland, I hear) are closed.
