I purchased my first AP in 1997, a Nick Faldo RG RO. I eventually found thePurists.com and that rocked my world. I officially became an AP nut. Sure has been a fun ride, especially getting to meet such an amazing group of watch enthusiasts. Even better getting to hang out with you in Houston and Denver.
Think we had two huge meals in 5 hours, great times.

I stumbled across this photo earlier of my old office. I bought my first AP in 2001, a silver rubberlcad. I could not imagine how many AP logos are throughout my house, whether they be on a watch or a book or a clock or a shirt or.... its a lot. Been a fu...

I am on the 15202 WG list, but who knows if or when that ever happens. Maybe a steel perpetual Royal Oak, maybe a if a new dial comes along that excites me. I really want that case in my collection.
Incredible story!!

I still recall when I purchased my first AP - a Chrono Steel Offshore in 2003 - trying to differentiate myself over many of the Daytona owners Spent a good amount of money refinishing and servicing it and then exited it after some sticker shock! Then afte...

The 15202ST proved to be then killer of AP for me. So simple, so perfect. Having recently acquired a full ceramic GP skeleton watch, I would die for a full ceramic AP perpetual... but wow, they highly value this material! Am little steep for me.

Thank you for sharing that, Michael. All the brand-related ephemera is part of the fun, no? I got my first AP in 2009, a RO Jumbo 15002. Last year I added the Survivor, as you know, and passion for that beast has only grown. All the best, respo
I remain so happy for your Survivor...
