I hope you are not referring to those big marks as they sure look like hallmarks to me...

I purchased new just never got around to removing the protective cover till now. Going to email them and see if they can help. You never know...

My platinum 44 has the same marks in exactly the same place - they are hallmarks.

I see one one side the plat 950 mark but on the other side are the marks - what is a hallmark? Can someone else post a pict of their plat case back - cheers
