Newbie question about a rumor at AP
Long time fan of AP and regular lurker here. I finally gathered up the courage to sign up to ask the forum a question about a rumor I heard while discussion watches with other customers at a store I frequently visit.
The rumor was about the fact that Octavio Garcia is leaving AP and heading over to another brand. I was very shocked at hearing this. I remember reading articles about Octavio and how he designed pieces such as the Offshore Montoya, Barrichello, Alinghi Team, updated the Millenary line with the MC-12 and I'm sure many other watches that are now legendary. Has anyone heard this and is this really true that AP will be losing their design director?
I'm really concerned about the future and I'd like to know what this means for AP?
