I heard that AP reduced their list prices (particularly their gold case versions) from Feb. I just bought one on January. Can anybody confirm this? Thanks!

looks like a 17% decrease in the USA and 30% in the UK on Gold Models.

I would check with your local points of sale...

I would say "slashing"of the prices. The matter is really simple :if such a drastic measure has been taken it must have been dictated by one thing only, the the demand forced such a decision, otherwise not in a million years there would have been reduction...

Rosegold pieces to be sold directly by Ap boutique

I heard from my AD in Switzerland that AP's move is very well planned in that they want to gain more margin out of the rosegold pieces by selling them directly at te boutiques and not through ADs . Typically the boutique doesn't give much discount (0-10% ...

Hi ... Did I read correctly... Do the ADs actually get it at 70-80% off list price.... As a commoner I'm guessing the best discount an AD offers to a walk-in customer is 20 - 30% off list price... Does that really mean they make 40-50% of the listed price...

No they do not.

AP haven't handled this well at all

Your sentiments are understandable.

Recently purchased gold pieces , AP might provide relief to dealers who can then pass this back to clients......help ease the pain..... :-)

That is correct!
