I don’t what these guys are doing lately. In my view they just seemed to have lost touch with us the buyers the enthusiasts and the collectors.
The choice of the movement must be result of cost reduction and the finishing is hidden because there is not much to show for.
Compare a VC Overseas Chrono: superb movement, beautiful finished, gold rotor, sapphire back o and before I forget 72 hours power reserve.

It is a bit a tradition to hide the FP1185... it can be seen but very rarely. Fx
