The display seemed a little thin, then I was told about all of these really cool pieces that were at the tournament and will be back soon. Only problem is I will leave town before they return. Guess they cannot twist my arm this week. JerryW

The openwork is so superbly executed. The piece has a lot of depth and is a true work of art. I did not activate the repeater on it but did on the titanium Millenary and it was heavenly. Definitely a complication I aspire to own one day.

Winged Foot is certainly outstanding and perfectly suited for the event.

This brought back some great memories from Monday Mike! Thanks for posting with some of your thoughts and photos... I'm still awed by how routine/easy those guys make the game look. It's really something to be able to tee it up with them, and I thoroughly... 

I really enjoyed meeting you and getting to know you. And it is extra special when I meet a fellow Purist for the first time. I hope you will post a bit more now; you have plenty to add to our discussions! BTW, you really saved us on that 220 yard par 3..... 

Oh I'm certainly going to be back more often then I have been. If only we had been able to convert a few more of those putts!!! I totally agree that meeting a fellow Purist is always a welcome moment. Really glad that Goly got us paired together. I'll try... 

I don't know why I did not grab some photos on the course when we had Ian and Bud for our holes. I think Bud's 4 iron from the rough, over the water, around the 50' tree, from 210 yards to 12 feet below the cup was the greatest shot I have ever seen live....

Goly was indeed busy talking about the spectacular pieces on display. I'm still shocked that I was able to handle the titanium Millenary Minute Repeater. It is quite possibly my single favorite AP creation to date. Hope all is well with you Boss.

The New York Boutique really brought out the heavy hitters for the showcase!

And what a box full of wonderments from AP. Platinum Chronometer for me, please! That was my favorite in the box. Or was it the SS Royal Oak Tourbillon? :-) Best, CaliforniaJed

The platinum ChronAP is superb. It was the first time I had seen it in person. Visually stunning, and a tour de force piece at the same time.
