Please remember... May 2009... 5 years ago... a very important watch for Lange was unveiled. When it was presented, a lot of people, including myself, were surprised by its design.
It is a pure Lange watch, Lange at its best when it gathers an impressive horological contents with a daring style... with this watch, I had the feeling to find again the energy and the ambition of the very first years.
This watch, as you know, is the Zeitwerk!

We were discussing how, in the mid-2000s, Lange enthusiasts were saying that Lange really needs to do SOMETHING fundamentally innovative -- something that is technically AND aesthetically groundbreaking -- to follow on the heels of the Lange 1's success 1...
