I was fortunate enough to attend the viewing of the A. Lange & Sohne Grand Complication in NY yesterday at a private location. Of course I was excited to see and handle the piece. Very few will ever have this opportunity so I jumped at the chance.
Mr. Schmid was in attendance as was the North American Team. Local collectors had a chance to hear about this amazing watch from Mr. Anthony de Haas; techincal director of development. The passion he excudes when describing the watch is a sight to see.
I didn't bring a camera so all photos were taken with my iphone. I can't describe the feeling of having 2.6 Million USD on the wrist so on to the pictures. One thing I will say, I was surprised at the weight of the piece. I expected it to be heavier. It's comfortable but VERY Big!

My wife joined me at the showing with her saxonia

My office could use a makeover like this!

As always pure class. A touch of modern and the "feeling" of Lange. Alex chose a great spot!

The feeling of home

Wonderful surprise!

A collector has some intimate time with the Grand Complication

Star of the show

The massive engine!

On the wrist of a friend.

I might have been a little nervous/excited....

Hard to have my sights on any other brand

Anthony took this for me on my wrist.

Can't have the Grand Complication so this will do. Big thanks to the North American team! Gaetan, Kate and Alex are truly the best!
