Of the two pieces, this rose gold one has four (4) additional parts in the movement in order to make the Moon Phase rotate in the opposite direction and thus correctly represent the phases of the moon here in the Southern Hemisphere. Another fun fact: wat...

Thanks Nico! The Luna Mundi and its relatives drew mixed attention when they were introduced.
The Luna Mundi was one of the first releases in the first Grand Lange 1 series -- the series with the overlapping subdials (because Lange used the same size movement as in the smaller, standard Lange 1 case). I think it was introduced at the same time as ...
