it is true for Patek too that discontinued the Gondolo for men. I once asked an AD and they told me that all rectanguar watches were very slow to move. The interest of many international clients was only on round watches.
I have a Reverso and would like to add a tank one day as well. The Lange is also beautiful but maybe not as iconic as other square/rectangular watches? For me I’d pick a round Lange before the cabaret but it is definitely not a bad choice and deserves muc...
Mine was the rose gold black dial model that had a white subsecond dial at 6 o’clock. It came on a black strap with orange contrast stitching and was really pretty. Good choice for you. Enjoy!
... It's a really beautiful watch. I agree with what the other Purists said, rectangular watches are not much in demand nowadays. Maybe the new Cartier offerings will reignite collector's interest.
L&H Georg is another very special piece. Perhaps Reverso dan Tank are so iconic and well priced such that almost everyone choose either of those two as their rectangular or square collection.
