But I chose this for the blued hands, and because I think it's more legible. I also prefer the boutique edition of the Richard Lange in terms of aesthetics even though I have the platinum version. Beauty as they say is in the eye of the beholder. Regards ...

to me it looks like a fake Lange not something that they have made. It should have blued hands not painted, now it looks cheap IMHO. I love Lange watches but this is not my cup of tea. Again I'm sorry I'm sure you love it and a huge congrats to your watch...

to me the model looks like something that is not made by Lange. The hands looks flat and painted at the pics and not blued as Lange use to do.

I know that for a fact because I own a 1815 MP as well. And the hands are not flat. The blue and appearance change with the lighting. In any event this model has been around since year 2010 so I'm not so sure what you meant by "not what Lange used to make...

I'm asking because the photos here in this post are a bit deceiving. In the photos here, the dial looks white and the hands look bright blue. In person, the dial looks very silver (not white) and the hands are darker and blend in better with that silver d...  

and the pic was the reason I speak up, not try to tell OP it's a fake. I have browsing around and most of the pic out there is misleading. I guess it's a hard watch to shot and get correct result, mostly it looks like the dial is white and the hands looks...  

Where the lighting is poor or does not show the other "sides" of the watch. The pic you have posted is an example of that. As an owner, I can tell you the watch looks very different under natural lighting or under sunlgiht. My pics are taken with my phone...  

but I still will say at your first pic the watch looks wrong (I know it's a genuine Lange) where the dial looks white and the hand flat painted blue. I have put together your pics and from Lange's website where you can see the differences and maybe unders...  

It\'s a lovely watch and today during our gtg I got to play with it again! Not many of us are experts in watch photograph. Jocke you definitely are one of the best amongst us (i always only use my iPhone to be honest as I enjoy watches but not photography...  

Sometimes my swenglish is lost in translation so maybe I sounds more forward than I am. I was saying it looks like a fake, not it is. To me it looks wrong at the pic and as I say it's the pic that fool the eye. I guess it's hard to present how the watch l... 

It is such a beautiful watch and tough to capture on photos hence the discussions we had here. I wish I could take nice photos like you too - just I am too lazy on the equipments lol! I admire your GO pics especially! Those blued hands... Wow! Ian is a ge...

CR is spot on as usual. Here is a wristshot of my AC which I think pretty accurately captures the color of the dial and hands.
