Is it correct to assume that the repeater mechanism is on the dial side ( obviously not the hammers and gongs)
If yes, will there be some black polishing? So perhaps a black polished chapter ring which would be consistent. By the way, what a fantastic project! Cheers, Dirk

yes in the 2nd to last image you can see a large image of the racks and springs of the repeater. black polished is a fantastic idea!!!
Exciting! What material did you choose for the case? I assume the bezel will be fully polished? Will you be doing a polished inner case wall? Lume, numerals, printed or engraved?
With a mirror polished inner case I like a strong pattern, deep graining, guilloche, etc that takes advantage of the mirror to virtually expand the dial. I don't love printing either, engraved hashes / numerals and / or applied indices. In a technical / m...
