I find the Independent brands offer some of the most creative and beautiful pieces on the planet. I have also had the pleasure of meeting the creators of my Independent watches which simply adds to the memories and personal experience that each piece provides.
Perhaps something from this fine fellow whom I had the fortunate experience of touring his workshop and sharing some beers with this past summer should be next to the collection??...

That's a great question. It certainly depends on the budget of course.
I am really drawn to many such as Romain Gauthier, the Gronefeld brothers, Ressence, Sarpaneva, Vianney Halter to name a few. I have to wait for a while as my watch budget is low right now. Only time will tell.
