The Triad by Peter Speake-Marin. I saw the prototype last year and I loved the concept. Now the watch is unveiled, I'm totally under the charm even if I would have preferred less words on the inner bezel. I can't wait to see it in the metal! Here is the P...

This one-ups the Resonance. I can imagine PSM sitting with a glass of wine, by a dew speckled window sill... twilight hour... Two, he thinks... this has been done, to great success. What... about... THREE!!!??? Kind of genius, if you ask me. And slightly ... 

I agree on the wording on the dial. Could be less and let us admire the dial.

Especially the content of the wording... Nevertheless great looking watch, can't wait to see it..... Mo

The "dials" are all stationary in the positions you see them on the dial pictured. The dials are all synchronized via the center wheel which is on a cannon. It's fantastic in person.

It just seems an odd position for the dials to be in...I would expect perfect symmetry. You wouldn't see as resonance designed with the two dials at 1 & 7 for example. Still a nice piece though. Yours, Andy.

What then of the Lange 1 and the GO Pano range? What is off or not off about them? Just curious about the rationale behind your comment.

but first I'll explain why your two examples are very different to the Speak piece... The Lange 1 has 4 seperate components to the dial...time dial, seconds dial, date and power reserve. None of which are similar and impossible to give symmetry too but th...

Fun idea; it seems the watch market is moving more and more to a breed of 'conceptualist' watches: more artistically inclined rather than complication or escapement driven. And there should be space in the market for such experiments. Just find all the te...
