URWERK

Hi the first time I have fallen for URWERK is the OPUS 5 and when my local AD showed me the 202 in Ailtin I was not very impressed to be honest with you, I was thinking it was not my kind of watch.  For some reason someday i had a chance to acquired a 201 black shark and for some weird reason I bought it.  ever since that 201, I have been addicted to URWERK and straight away ordered the CC1 again same experience when I took delivery of the watch I felt again the same feeling that it was a bit too pricey to square that I almost sold it, but the watch really grew in me over time and I love it so much now, that same particular year (this year) I had an offer for an OPUS 5 at very reasonable price that I could not refused.  Again I was offfered the 103.01 which is so rare on the market that i just have to bought it and a 103 T.  It all started with the 201 at the beginning of this year and end up with all the series available by now.  It is very addictive as every series has different amazing movement that you cant stop collecting.   I also had a chance owned a MbandF HM1 which I sold it and regret it, cause I miss it a lot.  I think MBandF and Urwerk is probably the most consistent independent modern watch/time machine brand or what ever you call it smile, not comparing with the other great independence watch brand that more traditional looking.  They have a vision and have been very consistent with their vision and never  failed to surprised me every time they come out with a new machine.  Prices could be pricey simply because they are a small company and because of that, they have only limited time limited, limited human resource, etc etc to produce one series which take years to think and design and can be quite costly due to a very limited time they have, that almost series they have to make it limited edition.  I believe when they say its limited edition they really mean it because they just cant afford to produce one model for 5 to 10 years because they have and want to move on with their new crazy ideas. I have to say a lot of big brand in watch industry would make a limited edition watch just simply for marketing sad sad.  I believe as young company as they are and as radical the shape or movement of their watches with pricey tag price not many people can accept them, but hey i believe they sold at least almost every series they made and its a matter of time before people realized that what they produced is an amazing watch, and by then everything is pretty much sold out and you just have to sit in front of your computer and checking out the market collectors section waiting for someone to sell their piece, which what happen to me with OPUS 5 (4 years of waiting since their first launched).
