I agree with everyone here that the Dato is a legend, and in my opinion
it is one of the finest chronographs ever. Plus, considering all
the people in this thread that are very passionate about this watch,
I'd expect it to be fetching a much higher price at auction. So,
can anyone here explain why it doesn't? Certainly with Lange
making relatively few watches in general, it can't be due to lack of
rarity. Also, so many people consider it a classic, so you'd
think there would be people lining up to include one as a must have in
their collection. I'm perplexed.
