I missed the presntation of this watch with our friend FX, but I was lucky enough to arrange another session... When the watch was presented some weeks ago, I was amazed by the originality of the time reading. I had, actually, many questions, mainly 2: 1/...
But I have to say, the dial looks like a puppy dog winking at us. I am sure the jumping minutes is something to behold, but this watch makes me laugh every time I see a photo of it. That movement, however, is really something. Glad to hear and see your im...
And you will see who laughts, at the end... I went with Patrice to see it, and I can tell you tha Patrice wasn't convinced from the pics he saw, and while seeing it in the flesh, he made a 180 ° change! Best,
I don't have a problem with the dial, but the movement is just so interesting to look at, I wouldn't have a problem just wearing the watch upside down.
Presented the RL PLM and this Zeitwerk ( they may perhaps change the too complicated name? ), Lange just released the best of the classic, and the best if the modern... Unbelievable! But I love that! Best, Nicolas
4 Langes coming into my home, the PLM, the 1815, the Zeitwerk, and mom's Soiree moonphase! You have said it well mon ami, and indeed what an honour it is to own both the best of Lange's classic, and it's most modern. Time as always, for me. Stephen
I will be celebrating the acquisition of your Pour le'Merite and Zeitwerke from California as soon as you inform me of your acquisition. Just let me know when to break the champagne.
I intend to celebrate the arrival of my PLM with a dinner with a special friend, or if she can't make it, then alone will do! I just wish you guys were with me here in Tokyo! My PLM is due sometimes in July, or so I am told. I will let you guys know, natu...
My first impression of the watch was not good but the more I see it the more I like it. The watch looks great on your wrist I can't wait to try one on myself. The movement is unbelievable to look at I think its better looking than JLC's Duometre. Seeing b...
About an awesome watch from Lange. I just met Gaetan ( Lange France ) for a coffee, and he brought this watch for me, so I could take some pics of it. It deserves a closer examination, indeed, and I will do it later. Referring to the Duo Metre and the Zei...
As Gaetan explained us, the most special Zeitwerk of the collection is the WG version. I can't wait to see it "in metal" with its black dial. Again, a big thank to Gaetan for his kindness and availability. Fr.Xavier
We talked a lot about Lange and more specifically, this Zeitwerk. He also told me that the WG was a stunning model. Hope to be albe to see it in the flesh, soon, because for the moment, the platinum is a winner in my book. Best, my friend. Nicolas
I really like the basic concept of this watch. I hope there will be a Generation II which has a 24 h display and minutes in 5 minute increments. I would also be happy if the screw and jewel "went under cover". Now Nicolas, when you figure how to finance t...
Richard, and as you, I'm quite sure this is the beginning of a new Saga... As for finding the money to fund it, this is another story... Best, and thanks for your nice words, even if I don't deserve them for such a quick view on this marvel, which should ...
i have a little game i play with myself which is to think of a brand and straight away name the first model i'd buy if money were not the issue. its better if someone else says the brand really. this would be the Lange that i would name. the dial is very ...
LIke me, you're literally attracted by the original way of reading time, on this watch ( and on others, of course ). At the beginning, when I saw the first pics, I wondered if I wouldn't e a bit dusiturbed by this digital display intead of the more classi...
Wow, Nico, how lucky were you in order to get a private viewing of this masterpiece! The movement is simply incredible! Thanks for taking us along with you. Abrazo y feliz dia del padre! Alejandro
It is a terrific piece to see in the flesh and to play with. If you can, don't hesitate a second, see it, play with it. Even if you don't consider buying it. It is an extraordinary moment. Best, my friend. Nicolas
otherwise would all run after the same models. It's way different than Lange's current collection, very understandable that it's maybe not for many Lange owners. In general I am not a Lange man, but this one really hits me. GEO
I appreciate the live pictures you and FX have shared with us of Lange's latest masterpiece. I really enjoy the Zeitwerk for its unusual dial, and stunning movement. Just looking at the movement once, I'd be hard pressed not to recognize it again. It's ju...
first of all thank you for bringing to us mortals yet another unusual piece for "closer" inspection actually this marvel of high horology is not my cup of travarica but the movement is just astonishing the appearance and finish are just top of the top one...
This particular Lange watch is certainly impressive from the front and back. It succeeds in being symmetrical without being symmetrical, by the placement of the crown and counterbalance of the screw with the jewel. I especially like how the numerals have ...
This piece deserves it! you're true, Ping...This watch deserves time to get all itis interest, and Beauty. This is not an easy watch, but at the end, when you get it, it is stunning. Will go back to my homework. Best ,and thanks for your indulging words. ...
I'm still on the fence about the Zeitwerk. The movement is where it really shines (both aesthetically and mechanically), but while interesting and significant, the digital displays lack the elegance of sweeping hour and minute hands. A great watch, for a ...
Yes, when I saw it first, I was wondering exactly the same than you. Does the digital display of the hours and minutes have the same elegance than the classic hands? Are classic hands the mandatory charactersitic of a mechanical watch? Those were my inter...
