Hi all~ Acquired this new 1815 chrono recently (my first ALS purchase) , can't express how much I fell in love with this watch ever since. The dark charcoal / black dial made the watch so casually wearable, was even thinking of getting a suede strap to to...  

About the strap, try to dress it down a bit. What about a simple calf strap, a bit distressed? Best, Nicolas

This is one of my favorite top chronograph in the market. Great choice and congratulations! I can't offer any strap choices as I'm conservative and lazy to be honest, so I always stick to stock. Rgds Raymond

I would check out Jean Rousseau or Camille Fournet for straps. They both have high quality straps (and you can also custom order).

I had no idea that this watch has reached retailers and you must have been one of the first to obtain one. Great looking watch in any strap!

This was the only one in the HK boutique, if it was sold to somebody else they said I would have to wait for another half year ~ It's too beautiful to resist, but still took me two weeks to pull the trigger after meeting the watch in person

... whether to spend your time looking at the dial or looking at the movement!

Would love to see some more pictures of the dial not elongated. The movement picture is fantastic! I ordered mine before seeing it in the metal, but have owned the watch before with 2nd generation white gold without the pulsometer. It's subjective of cour...

About the strap, I would recommend to play around two topics: the strap color and the texture. It is not easy to find a color which matches a black dial but khaki works well... and gives a more casual and military (yes at the same time!) style to the watc...

The 1815 Chronograph is, to me at least, the most desirable manual-winding time and chrono only watch available. I would keep it with the black strap!

Congrats! I ordered mine few weeks ago and expecting arrival end of Oct. Did you request it on a deployant buckle because on the website it displays pin buckle?

and shhhh~ They offered me a free exchange from the original pin to the deployant because they couldnt offer me discount due to new stock~~ They also gifted me the magnifier and chinese mooncakes too :P
