Visiting Lange today

Mar 06, 2019,21:40 PM

So excited to finally get here.

Yesterday was spent in Dresden, visiting the new flagship store that opened in October of 2018. A beautiful store based on Lange’s new Bauhaus-inspired look and feel.

Ran into not one but two Datograph Lume. One was being picked up in the boutique.

The other was on the wrist of Mr. Schmid who spent quite a bit of time with us. What a great privilege and pleasure.

And this being a Lume we had to test it - picture came out not so good, but you get the idea.

Today we go for the tour of the manufacture. Should be fun!

Claus

But sitting at their showroom table is a blessing and a curse at the same time....trust me. And you get to wear a white coat 😉 ...

This kind of table...?

Oh man, I would have loved to see some of the new and rare pieces while visiting last week. We did not get the chance during our tour. Probably good for our wallet though ;-)

The underside of the strap looks to be a very interesting design? Also that photo shows limited edition of 100 for the prototype piece?

Strap and number...

The strap was indeed quite special with the rubber element and a crocodile pattern on the top side. It looked a bit like a Hirsch strap, but I did not get a chance to ask Mr. Schmidt about it. As for the number, I believe that Mr. Schmidt mentioned that t...
