Hi there ,
These really are two fairly different watches , the VC IS somewhat expensive but it is a fairly small edition and it has an enamel dial ,
which is a real pain to manufacture , The Chronometre Royale is a wonderful rebirth of a classic V C watch &
The V C inhouse automatic movement is a stunner .
The R Lange is superbly engineered and comfortably exceeds COSC specifications , so I would not let that worry me one iota !
The Geneva Seal can only be given to watches assembled in the Canton of Geneva ,
so the fact that the Lange doesn't have one is not a detracting indicator of quality vs the Vacheron .
All told , either watch would be a great acquisition , but I don't think we are comparing apples with apples .
It comes down to personal preference , myself I would take the Vacheron , if only for the limited nature of production run .
Have fun deciding !
Chris .
