Lange published this nice picture of the Saxonia Thin: The Saxonia Thin is a watch I like thanks to its pure dial and the unusual movement lay-out for a simple Lange watch (rachet and crown wheel are visible): But the combo silver dial and WG case is too ...

I don't like watches with small movement setting in a big case. This is an example.

... but still don't understand why it had to be made so big - the movement is so much smaller and the thick case "rim" shows that - I don't understand why Lange had to do such a thing. 37 or 38 is big enough for a dress watch - had better be not too shout... 

But I believe that the idea was to create a watch really different from the other handwind Saxonia, the 37mm one. Fx

It is true that it might be a bit large for such a simple watch. Same problem with VC ... But I tried it for the first time last week (not much opportunities to do so in Mauritius) and it felt really great. But I would go for the VC Patrimony Contemporain...
