This happens when

the chrono function is not in use. both the chronograph and split seconds hand slowly move in an anti clockwise direction from zero. i do not let the chrono run unless i am timing something.

Double Split creeping hands?

Has anyone noticed the chronograph seconds hand creeping backwards slowly on the double split(1 sec/5days) when wearing their watch? When I action the return to zero pusher it returns to zero.

to have any watch hands actually going backwards. I'm sure this doesn't happen to any normal DS or perhaps I have misunderstood your question? F

What ? You don't use your chronograph during 5 days ? It is a shame when you own a Lange chronograph ! Fr.Xavier

You have to differenciate the chrono hands - one for the chrono and the other for the rattrapante - and when they are overlapping. Also if this happens when you are reading off normal time without having activated either of these functions within 5 days. ...
