During my last visit at the Lange Boutique in Paris, I had the chance to handle 3 different Tourbillon watches. They are far from being similar and each one is focused on its own special characteristics. As a whole, they show the diversified way of the Ma...  

... I'm seduced by both the FA Lange and the RL PLM, with the latter having the slight edge due to its daring use of the unconventional dial and breathtaking movement. The FA Lange may be a more wearable watch, but there are similar pieces from other manu... 

But it may also create a frustration: the feeling to do it another way, the feeling that a version without a Tourbillon would have been gorgeous... But without any doubt, Lange put in place a very efficient rotating dial system. Thanks for your comments! ...

Because we are talking here about feelings of collectors. In my point of view, the Lange 1 Tourbillon was the first Tourbillon after the Tourbillon PLM and maybe some regretted as you say the absence of chaîne-fusée system. You know, the expectations are ... 

to answer this. Indeed, over time, collectors may see the beauty and value in the simplicity of the original Lange 1 Tourbillon. I don't think it should be compared to the fusee chain in anyway as the complication is rather different. In the world of "sim...

Yes, the first Lange 1 Tourbillon is really beautiful with a purer dial than the F.A.Lange version: Another dreamwatch... Fx ...  

While the Lange 1 Tourbillon FA Lange is my favourite out of these 3, I have to say I love the different editions for 2 of these even more. They are the Handwerkunst and the original Lange 1 Tourbillon. The Handwerkunst turns the RL Tourbillon PLM into an... 

Sadly, I've never had the opportunity to see the Handwerkunst and I'm not sure to have it in the future... I understand your point of view and I hope to be able to see, at least, the Zeitwerk version of this decoration style. Fx

and I learned a lot about these tourbillions. You shot great pictures and adding videos was a true improvement, especially when talking about this kind of complications. I must say I thought, at the beginning of the report, and knowing your love for shape... 

even if it has some very good points including the stop tourbillon system. But I remember very well the movie which was presented it. It was during the SIHH 2008 and I have it in my memory like if it was yesterday...

Tourbillon on the Richard Lange PLM rotates clockwise while the Tourbillon on the Lange 1 rotates anti-clockwise. It's like the JLC Gyrotourbillon which rotates clockwise and the Duometre a Spherotourbillon which rotates anti-clockwise. As for these 3 bea...
