A. Lange & Söhne

Thanks for your message!

First of all, welcome on board, please enjoy your stay here.

The only way to be never disappointed with watches is to buy them for their charm, their attraction, their technical interest.

The collectibility factor requires a crystal ball nobody owns.

Enjoy the watches for what they bring today and not for what they may bring in terms of value tomorrow.

And it is what you did actually: you liked the watch, you bought it... and you did it right.

About the watch by itself, it is a very balanced watch. I like its dial. I like its 3/4 rotor movement and I often regret that Lange doesn't use more often. But as a friend said, the Saxonia Calendar is "a perfect business watch". And I expect a touch of originality I don't find in it.

I will take my example, I purchased a Patek 5205. And do you know why?

It is not because I found the 5205 "better" than the Saxonia. To be frank with you, I feel more trust with Lange watches than with Patek.

No, because I consider the 5205 as one of the most beautiful Patek. And I do believe that I would prefer several Lange watches before considering the Saxonia Calendar.

Anyway, please again, you made the right decision because it is YOURS.
