I can understand why, it's a polarising design. The dial, the movement (an entirely new movement built from the ground) look great and are very well finished with the usual Lange standards. Many including myself feel that the bracelet is proportionately too wide but once you put it on the wrist, visually the elephant in the room disappears. So my advice is to go check it out at the boutique and try it out. I don't know if you can tell from the pic, but the width of the bracelet at the lug joints is similar to the AP RO. In fact, it is 0.5 mm thinner.
