But back to the 1815.

You can see wrist shots in my gallery of the new 1815 moonphase: looks perfect for a CLASSIC watch on the wrist.

And I am 6.2 and 105 kg, so not to skinny in appearance and with a normal wrist.

The 1815 is perfect in size: not too big, not too thick or flat, all works well and looks very, very authentic.

The solid HG ( honey gold ) dial is at least 1,5 mm thick and gives the watch a stunning depth.

A PP 5196 with 37 mm and a hight just over 7 mm, or so, does not really work: it is too flat and looks therefore with the plain design huge on the wrist.

The 1815 has been very carefully and cleverly magnified to satisfy current size taste, but still, as it is a CLASSIC watch, it has not become too big.

A great, great watch to enjoy !
