Sore topic for me...
...I picked up a pile of laundry a couple of weeks ago not realizing a fairly recently purchased white Eton shirt was in there, along with some new jeans. I now have a vaguely blueish/purpleish ‘white’ eton shirt, that is unsalvageable!
Whether or not one would like (or wear) that specific shirt, I think you're implicitly making an excellent point: top quality, self-confidence, and irony are three great principles that should always guide the way we dress...
Can I ask the brand/tailor of that shirt? For the little I can see of it, I bet those ice creams are sitting on some very good cotton! ;-) Thanks for sharing a thought-provoking post....and of course a beautiful watch

The brand is Eton www.etonshirts.com one of the best IMO you can’t get RTW.

I bought Eton shirts until a few years ago. The location of manufacture has shifted to other countries within the EU. I'm not sure about those available in North America.
