(B) is full because the longer tooth of the center wheel is locked with the shallower slot of the outer wheel, so it cannot be wound further (during winding, the outer wheel rotates clockwise relative to the center wheel). Stopworks is preventing overwind...

I just had the photos (previously) confirmed by others and the fact that the Zeitwerk never fully unwinds; plus it is interesting to know that it is by one revolution. Many thanks and congratulations on owning this wonderful watch.

I tried but failed to figure it out. I never noticed that one tooth was longer and one gap was shallower. I need to look at the movement under magnification while I wind it -- something to look forward to!
